Genuine Sony projector lamp for VPL-CH370

This 250 W UHP lamp module is built as a direct replacement for the Sony VPL-CH370 projector. It ships as a complete housing assembly so installation requires no separate bulb handling. The unit is new and rated for 3000 hours in normal mode or 5000 hours in economy mode.

UHP lamp life and brightness constraints

The 250 W UHP light source delivers its rated output for 3000 hours under standard operation; switching to economy mode extends that window to 5000 hours while reducing peak brightness. After those intervals the lamp will not strike reliably and colour uniformity drifts, so a scheduled swap avoids mid-presentation failures.

Replaces the original factory module when hours

This module replaces the OEM lamp assembly once the projector’s hour counter approaches the 3000 or 5000 hour limits. The upgrade is worth it when the existing lamp dims, flickers or triggers a replacement warning, restoring full brightness without changing the projector’s optical path.
