A 160-watt UHP projector lamp rated for 1,500 hours, supplied as a complete housing for quick installation
The Sony VPL-CX11 LMPC160 is a new 160W projector lamp module supplied as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is designed for users who need a direct replacement for the original lamp in compatible Sony projectors. Installation is straightforward because the unit arrives pre-assembled and ready to fit.
This lamp replaces a depleted original once its rated 1500-hour lifespan is reached. The upgrade is worth it when the projected image has dimmed noticeably or the projector signals that a lamp change is required. A fresh module restores the intended light output and colour balance for continued use.
The module fits into the projector's existing lamp compartment without the need for separate bulb handling. Because the housing is included, the swap frees up time otherwise spent aligning a bare bulb and reduces the risk of contaminating the optical path. The unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and tested for ignition, voltage and run-time performance.

The LMPC160 module is built for the Sony VPL-CX11 projector and fits the original lamp cage without modification.
Power off the projector, allow it to cool, remove the lamp cover, release the retaining screws, slide the old module out, insert the new LMPC160 unit until it seats firmly, re-tighten the screws, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu.
Replace the lamp after approximately 1500 hours of use or when the projector displays a lamp-replacement warning and image brightness drops noticeably.
