Professional Laser Projector

The Sony VPL-FHZ700L is a 3LCD laser projector delivering 7000 ANSI lumens at a native 1920 x 1200 resolution. It suits corporate boardrooms, lecture theatres and houses of worship that need bright, reliable images in rooms with ambient light. The laser light source removes lamp replacements and supports continuous operation for demanding schedules. DICOM simulation mode assists medical training environments.

Flexible Installation Options

Ceiling, rear and table-top mounting are all supported, with projection tilt and colour correction helping align the image on uneven surfaces. Connectivity includes HDMI, USB and VGA/SVGA D-Sub for legacy and current sources. Wired network control integrates with Crestron or Extron systems. Built-in speakers are absent, so external audio is required for presentations with sound.

Brightness and Resolution Decide Fit

The 7000 ANSI lumen rating and 16:10 WUXGA panel determine whether this model matches the venue. Spaces needing lower output or a 16:9 native panel will not benefit from the extra brightness. Buyers who need a quieter unit for small huddle rooms should consider a lower-lumen alternative. Maximum input resolution reaches 2160p.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 7000 ANSI lumens brightness is performing correctly after installation?

Measure screen illuminance with a light meter; a reading near 7000 ANSI lumens confirms the laser light source is delivering rated output.

What cables and accessories are included, and which must be purchased separately?

The projector ships with a power cord, remote control and basic documentation; HDMI, VGA or USB cables for source devices are not included.

Which resolution setting should I select for the sharpest image on this 1920 x 1200 panel?

Set the source to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz to match the native WUXGA panel pixel-for-pixel without scaling.
