Lightweight Noise-Cancelling Headphones

The Sony WH-CH720N weighs 0.42 kg and uses Dual Noise Sensor technology with an Integrated Processor V1 to reduce unwanted sound. Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a 30 mm dynamic driver deliver a 7 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. A 1.2 m cable with a gold-plated L-shaped mini plug is included for passive operation.

Suited for All-Day Wireless Listening

These headphones provide up to 35 hours of battery life with noise cancelling active and 50 hours with it off, making them practical for long commutes or work sessions. A three-minute quick charge adds roughly 60 minutes of playback. Buyers who need wired high-resolution audio codecs or a lower impedance for portable players without amplification should consider other models.

Simple Integration with Daily Devices

Bluetooth multipoint connection lets the headphones stay paired to two devices simultaneously, while Google Fast Pair and the Headphones Connect app streamline initial setup. The built-in beamforming microphones support hands-free calls and voice-assistant access. USB charging uses the supplied cable, and the folding over-ear design reduces the space needed in a bag.

Questions about this item

Do I need a Bluetooth device to use the Sony WH-CH720N headphones wirelessly?

Yes, the headphones connect via Bluetooth and require a compatible source such as a phone, tablet or computer with Bluetooth to stream audio without the 1.2 m cable.

Can I still listen with the 1.2 m cable if the 35-hour battery runs out?

The headphones include a 1.2 m single-sided cord with a gold-plated L-shaped stereo mini plug for passive wired listening when the battery is depleted.

How do I know the quick-charge function is working after I plug the headphones in?

A 3-minute charge via the USB port provides up to 60 minutes of playback, so you can verify the feature by checking the battery indicator after a short charge.
