Sony 77" QD-OLED 4K TV

The Sony XR77A95L is a 77-inch QD-OLED television that delivers 4K resolution at 120Hz. It is built for viewers who want pure blacks combined with a wide colour range on a large screen. The Cognitive Processor XR drives the picture, while Google TV provides voice search and streaming apps. This model suits home cinema enthusiasts and gamers seeking high refresh rates.

Acoustic Surface Audio Plus sound

Audio comes from a 2.2 speaker configuration with two actuators and two subwoofers behind the panel. Acoustic Surface Audio Plus turns the screen into a speaker, matched with Dolby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround processing. Simulated surround and 3D Surround Upscaling expand the soundstage. Ambient Optimization Pro tunes output to the room automatically.

Multi-position stand and connectivity

A multi-position stand lets the set sit low or raised to clear a soundbar. Integrated cable management keeps wires tidy. Four HDMI inputs support 4K/120Hz, VRR and ALLM, with eARC on one port. Two USB ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optical and RS-232C round out connections. A 300x300 VESA pattern allows wall mounting.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the multi-position stand to the 77" QD-OLED panel without stressing the One Slate frame?

Lay the TV face-down on a padded surface, align the stand brackets with the recessed mounts on the rear chassis, then tighten the supplied screws evenly — over-tightening one side first is the common mistake that can warp the thin panel.

When will the 200 ml Amber screen cleaner need replacing, and is the panel coating sensitive to other fluids?

The 200 ml bottle lasts several months with weekly gentle wipes; only use the supplied ammonia-free, alcohol-free solution — household cleaners strip the anti-reflective coating and cause permanent streaks.

At what point does the 8.5 ms response time show motion blur during 120 Hz gaming?

In fast 4K 120 Hz scenes the 8.5 ms pixel transition is the first limit — you may notice slight trailing behind high-contrast edges, while input lag and VRR remain well controlled.
