Soothielec KH53 Wireless Headset

The Soothielec KH53 is an over-ear wireless headset designed for professionals who spend long hours on calls. It connects via Bluetooth 5.3 or the included USB-A dongle, making it compatible with PCs that lack built-in Bluetooth. The 30 ohm impedance and Qualcomm chip with aptX HD support deliver clear stereo audio for both voice and music. Buyers who need a headset without a microphone or who require desk-phone connectivity should look elsewhere.

USB Dongle and ENC Microphone

A dedicated USB-A dongle provides a low-latency link for Windows computers without native Bluetooth, though it will not work with desk phones or landlines. Environmental noise cancellation (ENC) reduces background sounds such as loud pets or children so the far end hears your voice clearly. A one-touch mute button silences the microphone instantly during active calls on platforms like Zoom, Teams and Webex. The mute function activates only while a call is in progress.

Dual Pairing and 40-Hour Battery

The headset pairs with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between a laptop and a smartphone. Bluetooth range extends to 33 feet for freedom of movement during meetings. A 600 mAh battery delivers up to 40 hours of operating time and recharges fully in 2 hours via USB. The headset weighs 1 pound and uses a 3.5 mm connector for optional wired use. No carrying case or additional ear pads are mentioned in the supplied data.

Questions about this item

Will the 600 mAh battery be user-replaceable when it no longer holds a 40-hour charge?

The battery is embedded and not designed for user replacement; service would be required once capacity degrades.

What thermal or power limit appears first during an all-day 40-hour session?

The 600 mAh cell sets the hard limit at 40 hours of operating time before a 2-hour recharge is needed.

How much heat or fan noise does the headset produce while worn continuously?

Passive operation with no active cooling means no fan noise and only slight warmth from the Bluetooth 5.3 circuitry.
