What it is and who it serves

The SOULION R60 is a 2.1 soundbar delivering 10 watts of total power through dynamic drivers. It connects to desktops, laptops, smartphones and tablets via USB or Bluetooth 5.3. A USB-C to USB adapter is included for Type-C-only devices. Touch controls and a rotary knob handle power, volume and mode switching.

Sustained-load behaviour

The unit draws power from a 5 volt USB source, so output remains tied to the host port’s current limit during long sessions. Five LED lighting modes can be cycled or disabled independently of audio playback. The fabric-wrapped enclosure maintains a comfortable surface temperature. A three-second press on the light button clears paired Bluetooth devices when needed.

The deciding specification

Total power is rated at 10 watts in a 2.1 configuration, which sets the loudness ceiling for near-field desktop use. The 3.5 millimetre auxiliary input is present but the required cable is not supplied. Dimensions are 3.15 by 16.14 by 3.94 inches and weight is 1.1 kilograms.

Questions about this item

Does the 10-watt soundbar run warm or make fan noise during all-day use?

The USB-powered 2.1 soundbar draws 5 volts and has no fan, so it stays cool and silent during extended sessions.

What ports must my computer already have to use the USB-C adapter and Bluetooth 5.3?

You need a free USB-A port for the included adapter or a USB-C port for direct power, plus Bluetooth 5.3 support on the host device.

Will the 3.5 mm aux input work with my older laptop that only has a headphone jack?

Yes, the aux mode accepts a standard 3.5 mm cable (not included) so any legacy headphone jack can feed audio to the R60.
