Compatible Headphone Models

These replacement earpads fit Sony MDR-7506, MDR-V6, MDR-V7 and MDR-CD900ST monitor headphones. They use high-density foam with a football-texture mesh fabric that wicks sweat and resists slipping during long sessions. The pads restore comfort and appearance without altering the original sound signature.

Installation Steps and Common Issues

A step-by-step user guide is included and the swap typically takes about five minutes. The most frequent issue is failing to seat the pad lip fully into the headphone groove, which can cause the cushion to detach or create an uneven seal that affects isolation.

Long-Term Comfort and Durability

The high-density foam retains its shape under sustained pressure, so clamping force stays consistent during extended monitoring or mixing sessions. Mesh fabric continues to wick moisture and resist sliding even after hours of continuous wear, preventing the heat build-up that leads to listener fatigue.
