12-Pack Acoustic Wedge Tiles

This pack contains twelve soundproofing foam tiles designed for vocal booths, control rooms and studios. Each tile covers one square foot and measures two inches thick. The overall Noise Reduction Coefficient is 0.65. Panels are made in the USA.

Suited for small-to-medium rooms needing echo

These tiles work well for reducing standing waves and flutter echoes in typical recording spaces. They are less suited for large venues or industrial areas requiring heavy low-frequency absorption. Buyers wanting higher NRC ratings or different profiles should consider other options.

Handles mid-to-high frequency reflections

The 0.65 NRC rating indicates solid performance for vocal and instrument clarity in modest rooms. Coverage is limited to twelve square feet, so larger rooms will need additional packs. Low-frequency management remains limited with this thickness.

Questions about this item

What surface area will the 12 tiles cover?

The pack contains 12 tiles and each one covers one square foot, so the set covers 12 square feet in total.

Will the NRC 0.65 rating still help if I keep my existing hard walls and glass?

Yes, the 0.65 Noise Reduction Coefficient means each tile absorbs a good portion of mid-to-high frequencies, reducing flutter echoes even when reflective surfaces remain.

How can I check the tiles are working after I mount them?

Clap sharply in the treated room; a noticeable drop in ringing and flutter echo compared with the bare room shows the foam is absorbing sound as intended.
