Red wedge foam for studios and home theaters

This pack of 12 red wedge panels targets podcasters, streamers and home-theater owners who want tighter room acoustics. The wedge profile scatters reflections to reduce standing waves and flutter echoes. Each tile carries a Noise Reduction Coefficient of .65 for measurable absorption. Fire-retardant material adds safety in permanent installations.

Capacity and headroom: 12 tiles cover moderate

Twelve 12-inch squares treat first-reflection zones on walls or ceilings in a typical control room or living-room setup. The .65 NRC handles mid-to-high frequencies where voice and instruments clutter the image. Low-frequency buildup and large-volume spaces will still need bass traps or thicker panels.

Fits standard grids with pins.

Panels mount flush on drywall, wood or acoustic fabric without specialised hardware. Pins leave small holes, spray adhesive gives a permanent bond, and 3M Command strips allow damage-free removal for renters. The lightweight foam adds negligible load to ceiling grids or partition walls. No frame, wiring or power required.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 wedge panels work with the existing drywall in my home studio?

Yes, the panels mount directly to drywall using the included pins, spray adhesive or 3M Command Strips without damaging the surface.

How can I confirm the panels are absorbing sound as expected after installation?

Clap sharply in the treated room; a noticeable reduction in flutter echo and a tighter, clearer decay indicate the NRC 0.65 panels are performing.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy adhesive separately?

The box contains 12 red wedge foam tiles measuring 2" x 12" x 12"; mounting pins, spray adhesive or Command Strips are not included and must be purchased separately.
