9-Inch Molded-Fiber Clamshell Container

This 9 x 9 x 3 inch white container uses a hinged lid to keep hot or cold food secure during transport. Made from bamboo and bagasse sugarcane fiber, it suits restaurants, caterers and meal-prep services that need compostable single-use packaging.

100-Count Sleeve Offers Daily Service Headroom

One sleeve holds one hundred containers, covering a full shift for most quick-service counters. Two sleeves per carton simplify bulk storage, yet operations serving hundreds of meals per day will need multiple cartons on hand.

Compostable Fiber Reduces Waste-Stream Load

The sugarcane-based material breaks down in commercial composting facilities, cutting landfill volume compared with foam or plastic alternatives. No plastic liners or coating are included, so greasy sauces may seep through if the container is held for long periods.

Questions about this item

Will these 9-inch clamshells stack with the 8-inch fibre trays I already use?

The containers measure 9 inches wide by 9 inches deep, so they will not nest inside 8-inch trays and will overhang if placed on top.

How can I confirm the moulded-fiber material holds up to hot takeaway meals after I receive them?

Run a quick test by filling one container with steaming food, closing the hinged lid, and checking for leaks or softening after ten minutes.

The listing shows 100 per sleeve and two sleeves per carton — do I need to order lids separately?

Each clamshell has an integrated hinged lid, so no separate lids are required; a full carton simply provides two sleeves of 100 complete containers.
