What it is

The Sparco 1870 is a single smoke-coloured plastic clipboard measuring 9" x 12". A low-profile flat clip holds paper securely while keeping the board slim for storage. Moulded rulers on both edges show imperial and metric units, and a pull-out tab allows the board to be hung when not in use.

Who it suits

This board suits anyone needing a lightweight writing surface for forms, checklists or notes away from a desk. The transparent smoke finish lets you see underlying pages, and the hanging tab helps keep workspaces tidy. Buyers who need a metal clip, a covered board or a different paper size should consider other options.

Deciding specification

The flat low-profile clip is the feature that determines fit. It reduces bulk compared with traditional raised clips, making the clipboard easier to slide into bags or stack on shelves. If your workflow demands a higher clip capacity or a different closure style, this model will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What paper size fits the 9 by 12 inch clipboard surface?

The board is sized for standard letter sheets measuring 9 by 12 inches; the low-profile flat clip holds them securely without curling.

Will the flat clip catch on other clipboards when stacked in a drawer?

The low-profile flat clip sits nearly flush, so multiple clipboards stack neatly without snagging on one another.

How can I verify the imprinted rulers are accurate after unpacking?

Compare the printed inch and centimetre scales on both edges against a trusted steel rule; they should align exactly across the full length.
