Purpose and fit

This Sparco cash drawer is built for retail counters that need a compact, secure place to store bills and coins. It suits small shops, cafés and pop-up vendors who want a unit that can sit on top of a counter or be mounted underneath with the supplied brackets.

The removable tray

A pull-out tray with its own cover keeps currency organised and can be lifted out for end-of-day reconciliation or safe drops. The drawer opens by key or by an electronic release button, and an integrated alarm bell sounds on every opening unless the user disables it.

Thermals and power

The mechanism is entirely mechanical and requires no external power supply, so it generates no heat and runs silently apart from the optional alarm bell. There are no fans, no power draw and no thermal load to consider in the workspace.

Questions about this item

How does the 17 by 15 inch footprint affect counter placement?

The 17-3/4 by 15-3/4 inch base lets the drawer sit flush on standard countertop depths while leaving room for a receipt printer or terminal beside it.

What connection standard does the drawer use for POS triggering?

The drawer opens via a key or a push-button release on the front panel; no data cable or interface standard is involved.

What hardware is needed to mount the drawer above or below the counter?

The included brackets screw into the counter surface so the unit can be secured in either orientation without extra parts.
