Fastener Folder for Letter Documents

These fastener folders are built for letter-size filing and come in a box of 50. Two bonded fasteners in positions 1 and 3 let you secure punched pages inside each folder. The 11 point stock provides a sturdy feel for daily office use. They suit anyone who needs to keep related papers together on a shelf.

Tab Strength and Filing Order

Straight-cut tabs sit in positions 1 and 3 for consistent alignment across the drawer. Each tab is double-thick to resist tearing when folders are pulled or replaced. The fastener placement keeps documents flat and in sequence during frequent access. No special equipment is required to load or remove pages.

Shelf Filing Practicality

The 50-count box supplies enough folders for a medium-volume project or department. Letter dimensions fit standard shelving without overhang. Fasteners hold subsets securely so pages do not shift when the folder is carried. Buyers who need legal-size capacity or a different fastener count will need another product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SP17262 fastener folders into my filing system, and what is the common mistake with the tab positions?

Insert the 11 point folders onto shelf rails; the mistake is placing tabs in the wrong position because this model has 2-ply tabs only in positions 1 and 3, not position 2.

What maintenance or replacement will the SP17262 folders need over time?

The 11 point stock and bonded fasteners are designed for long-term filing; replace individual folders only if tabs tear or fasteners loosen after heavy use.

What limit appears first when the SP17262 folders are used continuously in a high-volume office?

The 11 point paper stock reaches its tear resistance limit before the bonded fasteners fail, so folder body wear is the first constraint.
