Spartan Power 1/0 AWG Battery Cable
This 12 ft single black cable is built for heavy-duty DC power connections in RVs, boats, fleet trucks and solar installations. It uses pure copper conductors and arrives cut to length with adhesive-lined heat shrink already fitted.
Installation notes and common issues
The cable is ready to use with crimped ring terminals, so no stripping or crimping tools are required on site. The only frequent mistake is selecting the wrong terminal hole size — 5/16 in or 3/8 in — for the battery post or busbar stud.
1/0 AWG gauge and 1000 V rating
The 1/0 AWG cross-section and 1000 V insulation rating determine whether the cable can carry the required current without excessive voltage drop. UL 1232, 1284, 1338, 1346 and 10269 approvals confirm the construction meets recognised safety standards.

Questions about this item
How do I confirm the cable is functioning correctly after installation?
Verify secure crimps on the ring terminals, check for voltage drop under load, and ensure the adhesive-lined heat shrink remains sealed at each end.
What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?
The package includes one 12 ft 1/0 AWG black battery cable with factory-crimped ring terminals and adhesive-lined heat shrink; lugs, tools, or additional connectors are not supplied.
Which gauge and length should I select for my application?
Choose the 1/0 AWG 12 ft version when your system requires that specific conductor size and reach; other gauges such as 4 AWG, 2 AWG, or 4/0 AWG are offered separately.
