3-Foot 4 AWG Battery Cable Set
This 3-foot cable set uses 4 AWG pure copper conductors terminated with 3/8-inch ring terminals. It is built for automotive, marine, RV and off-grid DC wiring where a short, high-current link is required. The cables are cut to length and ready to install without further preparation.
UL-Rated Insulation and Thermal Performance
The insulation carries UL 1232, 1284, 1338, 1346 and 10269 approvals plus VW-1 flame rating and moisture resistance for up to 1000 V operation. Heavy-duty jacketing resists abrasion and heat in engine compartments or battery boxes. Adhesive-lined irradiated polyolefin heat shrink seals each crimp against corrosion and vibration.
Replaces Worn or Undersized Factory Leads
The set upgrades corroded, cracked or undersized original cables that cause voltage drop and hard starting. The lifetime crimp warranty covers repair if a termination ever fails. It is not suited for runs longer than the supplied length or for installations that require a different terminal size.

Questions about this item
How do I attach the 3/8" ring terminals to my battery posts, and what is the common mistake?
Slip the ring over the clean post, tighten the clamp bolt to the specified torque, and do not rely on the crimp alone for mechanical strength.
What maintenance will the adhesive-lined heat-shrink and UL-rated jacket need over time?
Inspect the shrink tubing for cracks or adhesive bleed after thermal cycles; replace the cable if the insulation shows hardening or cuts.
At what voltage does the 1000 V rating become the limiting factor during sustained high-current use?
The cable is rated to 1000 V, so voltage is not the limiting factor; ampacity and temperature rise at the crimp will limit sustained current first.
