Single Black 1/0 AWG Battery Cable
This 12 ft single black battery cable uses 1/0 AWG pure copper conductor for high-current DC power connections. It is built for automotive, marine, RV, solar and off-grid installations where reliable power transfer is required. The cable assembly is cut to length and ready to use with crimped ring terminals.
Suits high-current DC wiring.
Installers needing heavy-duty battery interconnects, inverter feeds or grounding runs will find this cable rated for up to 1000V and compliant with UL 1232, 1284, 1338, 1346 and 10269 standards. It is not intended for low-voltage data, communication or signal applications where shielded or twisted-pair conductors are required.
1/0 AWG gauge with lifetime crimp warranty
The 1/0 AWG conductor size determines the safe current-carrying capacity for your specific load and run length. Every assembly carries a lifetime crimp warranty covering repair if the crimp ever fails. The cable features adhesive-lined irradiated polyolefin heat shrink for moisture resistance and VW-1 flame rating.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box with the 12 ft 1/0 AWG battery cable and do I need to buy anything extra?
The cable is supplied cut to length at 12 ft with adhesive-lined irradiated polyolefin heat-shrink already applied and 3/8 in ring terminals crimped on both ends, so it is ready to use without extra parts.
How do I decide between the listed 1/0 AWG and the other gauges such as 4 AWG, 2 AWG or 4/0 AWG?
Choose 1/0 AWG when your inverter or load draws more current than 4 AWG or 2 AWG can safely carry but you do not need the heavier 4/0 AWG; the supplier assembles all four gauges in Reno for the same range of RV, marine, solar and fleet applications.
What does the 1000 V rating mean when the cable is installed in a 12 V vehicle system?
The 1000 V rating is the insulation’s maximum voltage withstand per UL 1232, 1284, 1338, 1346 and 10269, so on a 12 V system it provides a very large safety margin against voltage spikes and abrasion.
