Home Dry-Fire Training Tool

The SPECIAL PIE .38SPL laser trainer cartridge fits a .38 Special chamber and emits a 650 nm red Class IIIA beam when the hammer or striker falls. It provides instant visual feedback so shooters can rehearse fundamentals at home without live ammunition. A rubber snap cap at the rear protects the firearm during repeated dry-fire cycles.

Drop-In Cartridge for Standard Revolvers

The cartridge requires no gun modification and draws power from commonly available batteries that deliver roughly 3000 activations per set. It works with aftermarket training apps such as MantisX, LaserLyte, iTarget, G-Sight and LaserHit, which use a phone camera to record hits and analyse performance. Optimal engagement distance is 5 to 10 yards.

Shooters Wanting Affordable Indoor Practice

This tool suits owners of .38 Special revolvers who need low-cost, app-compatible trigger-time between range visits. It does not suit shooters using other calibres, those who require a bore-sighting laser that stays on continuously, or anyone needing a cartridge that functions in semi-automatic pistols.
