Intelligent Target for Dry Fire Training

The SPECIAL PIE Intelligent Target AKP1 is an interactive automatic target system designed for laser, airsoft, paintball and water bomb practice. It uses advanced hit detection technology to provide immediate feedback on shot accuracy at any distance. The system sends data to a display showing total time, missed shots and target commands. It is built for indoor and outdoor use except on rainy days.

Check Power and Connection Before Use

Verify that the 5200mAH battery is charged for wireless operation before each session. Confirm the operating environment suits your planned location, as the unit works from 0 to 70 Celsius and stores from -20 to 70 Celsius. Ensure you have a dry, stable surface for the 230 by 150 by 63 millimetre target housing. No wired connectivity is required for the wireless link.

Suits Solo Shooters Wanting Programmable Drills

This target suits shooters who want programmable pop-up behaviour with adjustable hit counts, pop-up delays and total challenge timing. It fits dry-fire training, airsoft skirmishes and paintball games where instant hit feedback is valued. Buyers needing a fixed paper target or a system without electronic scoring should look elsewhere. It is not for use in wet weather or for projectile types beyond laser, airsoft, paintball and water bomb.

Questions about this item

What comes in the AKP1 kit and is anything else needed to start training?

The kit includes the intelligent target unit itself; the description lists no separate charger, mounting hardware or additional sensors, so plan to supply your own power source and any mounts you prefer.

Which version or capacity of the AKP1 should I choose for laser, airsoft or paintball use?

Only one model — the AKP1 with a 5200 mAh battery — is offered, and it is rated for laser, airsoft, paintball and water-bomb projectiles across the same 0–70 °C operating range.

What does the 5200 mAh battery capacity mean for actual training sessions?

The 5200 mAh pack powers the auto-reset target and wireless link for extended indoor or outdoor drills; exact run time varies with pop-up frequency and temperature but covers multiple practice sessions per charge.
