A portable 4-inch colour test monitor with 480 x 234 resolution, RCA/BNC input, rechargeable battery and carrying case for CCTV installation
The Speco Technologies VMS2 is a handheld colour LCD designed for installers who need to verify camera signals on site. Its 4-inch display shows 480 x 234 line resolution and runs from a rechargeable battery or 12 V DC supply.
The unit accepts composite video through an RCA connector with a BNC adapter, so it works with standard analogue CCTV outputs but cannot display IP streams or HD-SDI signals. Power draw is 4.5 W, and the battery charges from the included mains adapter.
At 4.3 lb the monitor is light enough for one-handed checks during walk-throughs yet heavy enough to stay put on a ladder shelf. Buyers who need a rack-mountable multi-channel viewer or a touchscreen PTZ controller should look elsewhere.

The VMS2 has a fixed 4 in colour LCD with 480 x 234 line resolution, so there is no alternative screen size to choose.
It delivers standard-definition detail on the 4 in panel, sufficient for checking focus, wiring and basic motion on surveillance cameras.
The composite RCA with BNC adapter carries analogue CVBS signals from DVRs, NVRs or cameras directly to the monitor.
