SPEEDAIRE Double-Acting Air Cylinder

The SPEEDAIRE round-body cylinder delivers double-acting pneumatic force for automation and machinery tasks. Its 1-1/16 inch bore and 6 inch stroke suit linear motion systems that require push and pull operation in a compact footprint.

Stainless Steel Body with Nose Mount

An anodised stainless steel body resists corrosion while the chrome-plated piston rod reduces wear through repeated cycles. A front nose mount with 1/8 inch NPT inlet allows direct threaded installation into existing manifold or bracket patterns without extra hardware.

Non-Repairable Magnetic Piston Unit

The sealed, non-repairable design replaces older serviceable cylinders where maintenance access is limited or downtime must be minimised. Integrated magnetic piston enables position sensing for control systems that rely on reed or solid-state switches.

Questions about this item

What inlet size and thread type does the 1/8 in NPT port use?

The cylinder has a 1/8 in NPT air inlet for standard pneumatic fittings.

How does the nose-mount design attach to a machine frame?

The front nose mount threads directly into a prepared hole or bracket on the equipment.

What steps install the magnetic piston cylinder without damaging the chrome rod?

Align the load to prevent side loading, then secure the nose mount before pressurising the 1/8 in port.
