Hands-free car microphone

The SPTSSWET XL Car Mic 001 is a 3.5 mm electret condenser microphone designed for vehicle head units from brands such as Alpine, JVC, Sony, Jensen and Kenwood. Its omnidirectional pickup captures speech clearly for hands-free calls or voice commands while driving. The 3 m cable allows flexible placement anywhere in the cabin.

Plug-and-play installation

No power supply or software is required; the microphone connects directly to the stereo's 3.5 mm jack and works immediately. An adhesive backing lets you mount the unit on glass, the dashboard, a door panel or a visor clip without tools. The fixed cable runs 9.84 feet to reach the head unit cleanly.

Noise-reduction condenser capsule

The cartridge uses high sensitivity and low impedance to suppress background noise and electrical interference during transmission. This single feature determines whether voices stay intelligible over road and engine sound in daily driving conditions.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the XL Car Mic 001 without it falling off?

Peel the adhesive sticker and press the mic onto clean glass, dash or visor; the step most people skip is wiping the surface with alcohol first so the bond holds.

What part of this microphone will need replacing first?

The electret condenser cartridge and 3 m cable are the wear items; if audio gets noisy or intermittent, replace the whole mic unit.

What limits voice clarity during a long drive with this mic?

Cable length is fixed at 3 m (9.84 ft), so routing it away from power wires prevents interference that degrades the omnidirectional pickup over time.
