Pressure switch for air compressors

This Square D 9013FH pressure switch controls air compressors in the 60 to 80 psi range. It suits single-phase motors up to 1 1/2 hp at 120 V or 2 hp at 240 V, and three-phase motors up to 3 hp at 240 V. The DPST contact form breaks both lines for safe motor disconnection. It is built for standard industrial duty where a fixed cut-in and cut-out are required.

NEMA 1 enclosure with unloader port

The switch carries a NEMA 1 rating for indoor mounting on compressor tanks or panels. A single 1/4 in FNPS port accepts the unloader valve line, bleeding head pressure on shutdown for easier restarts. Manual Auto/Off lever lets the operator lock the compressor off without pulling power. Factory differential is 20 psi across the 20 to 100 psi adjustable range.

Replaces worn switches on existing tanks

This unit replaces a failed or leaking pressure switch on the same port size and pressure band. The jump is worth it when the old switch chatters, fails to unload, or drifts outside the 60/80 psi setting. It does not suit systems needing a different pressure span, a second port for gauges, or an outdoor-rated enclosure.
