Air-compressor pressure switch

The Square D 9013FH is a factory-set pressure switch for single-port air-compressor systems. It opens at 100 psi and closes at 70 psi with a fixed 30 psi differential. The unit carries a NEMA 1 rating and uses a DPST contact form for standard on/off action.

Sustained-load behaviour

Under continuous cycling the switch maintains the 70–100 psi band without drift. The DPST contacts are rated for 1½ hp at 120 V single-phase, 2 hp at 240 V single-phase, 3 hp at 240 V three-phase and 1 hp at 480 V three-phase. The unloader port vents line pressure each cycle to reduce motor restart torque.

Pre-installation checks

Verify that the compressor tank accepts a 1/4 in MNPT connection and that system pressure never exceeds 150 psi. Confirm the motor voltage and phase match one of the listed horsepower ratings. Ensure the mounting location satisfies the NEMA 1 indoor enclosure requirement.
