DIN-rail thermal-magnetic circuit breaker rated 3 A at 250 V AC, 1-pole, 16-10 AWG copper, UL 1077 listed
The SQUARE D 9080GCB30 is a single-pole thermal magnetic circuit protector rated at 3 A and 250 V AC. It mounts on standard DIN track and accepts copper conductors from 16 AWG to 10 AWG. The unit carries UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 No. 235 approvals for supplementary protection in control circuits.
This protector replaces legacy supplementary breakers that lack the combined thermal and magnetic trip mechanism or the DIN rail footprint. The upgrade is worth it when a panel requires coordinated overload and short-circuit response in a 0.5 in wide module that fits existing DIN 57470 mounting hardware.
Confirm the enclosure provides 3.15 in of depth and 3.11 in of length for the housing. Ensure the control wiring falls within the 16 AWG to 10 AWG copper range and that the 250 V AC rating matches the circuit voltage before ordering.

| Brand name | SQUARE D |
It mounts on standard DIN track and accepts copper conductors from 16 AWG up to 10 AWG.
Clip the single-pole housing onto the DIN rail until it locks, then torque the NEMA terminal-block screws to the specified value — skipping the torque check is the common error.
Replace the unit if it trips repeatedly at or below its 3 A rating, shows discoloured terminals, or fails to hold the 250 V AC load after reset.
