Three-pole molded-case breaker rated 30 A at 600 V AC with thermal-magnetic trip and 25 kA interrupting at 240 V AC
The Square D HDL36030 is a 30 A moulded-case circuit breaker from the PowerPact H series. It provides thermal-magnetic protection for three-phase AC systems rated up to 600 V and DC systems up to 250 V. The frame size is 150 A and the interrupting rating reaches 25 kA at 240 V AC. It suits industrial panel builders and maintenance teams replacing a standard three-pole device.
The single specification that decides fit is the 30 A continuous current rating combined with a fixed instantaneous trip set between 350 A low and 750 A high. This breaker will not coordinate with applications requiring adjustable instantaneous pickup or a different ampere rating. Verify the panel schedule calls for exactly 30 A and the available fault current does not exceed 25 kA at 240 V AC.
Installation is straightforward: the unit mounts free-standing and terminates with line/load lugs on both ends. The fixed instantaneous trip means no field adjustment is possible, so mis-coordination occurs if the upstream device expects a different pickup point. The 6.4 in height, 4.12 in width and 4.36 in depth must clear the enclosure interior; otherwise the door will not close.

The breaker will carry up to 30 A continuously and trip on sustained overloads above that level.
It allows the breaker to interrupt faults up to 25 kA at 240 V AC; at higher voltages the interrupting capacity is lower.
The unit needs a free-standing cut-out at least 6.4 in tall, 4.12 in wide and 4.36 in deep with clearance for line and load lugs.
