Plug-In Limit Switch for Industrial Use

This plug-in limit switch uses a side-mounted rotary actuator to detect mechanical position in automated equipment. It carries a 10 A rating at 600 V for both AC and DC circuits with a 2NC/2NO contact arrangement. The miniature body measures 2.5 in high, 0.83 in wide and 1.14 in deep for surface mounting in tight enclosures.

NEMA 1, 12, 13, 2, 4, 6, 6P Environmental Rating

The switch housing meets NEMA types 1, 2, 4, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, providing protection against dust, water ingress, oil and temporary submersion. It is not boot-sealed at the actuator, so the shaft opening relies on the enclosure rating rather than a dedicated shaft seal. The plug-in base allows quick replacement without rewiring the terminal block.

10 A 600 V Contact Capacity and Headroom

The 2NC/2NO contacts handle up to 10 A at 600 V on resistive loads, giving ample margin for typical control-circuit pilot duties such as relay coils, solenoids or PLC inputs. The rating does not extend to high-inrush motor loads or inductive switching beyond the stated values, so applications with heavy contactor coils may need an interposing relay. The miniature frame limits available wiring space behind the switch.
