Protects single-phase circuits at 15 A with a 10 kA interrupting rating in a bolt-on QO frame
The SQUARE D QOB115 is a single-pole miniature circuit breaker rated at 15 A for 120/240 V AC and 48 V DC systems. It uses a bolt-on mounting style that secures directly to compatible QO-series panelboards and NQOD load centers. A paddle actuator provides clear on-off indication for residential and light-commercial branch circuits.
This breaker serves as a direct replacement for failed or aged 15 A QO bolt-on breakers in existing panels. The 10 kA interrupting rating at 120/240 V AC matches the original specification, so the upgrade is warranted when the old device trips nuisance-free but shows heat damage or will not reset. No panel modification is required because the frame size and terminal layout are identical.
The unit occupies one pole space in a 100 A QO frame and connects via pressure-plate terminals that accept standard copper conductors. Its 3 in length, 0.8 in width and 2.9 in depth leave adjacent pole positions accessible for future expansion. Operating temperature minimum is 77 °F, so the breaker is suited for indoor installations that stay above that threshold.

| Brand name | SQUARE D |
It fits Square D NQOD and QO load centres that accept bolt-on mounting in a single-pole space.
Align the bolt-on foot with the panel rail, tighten the mounting screw to the specified torque, then press the pressure-plate terminals onto the conductors.
Replace it if the paddle actuator fails to trip at 15 A, shows visible contact damage, or exceeds the 10 kA interrupting rating during a fault event.
