Miniature arc-fault breaker rated 20 A, 120/240 V AC, single-pole bolt-on for QO load centres, 10 kA interrupting, 4.8 × .8 × 2.9 in
The SQUARE D QOB120CAFI is a miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A for single-phase 120/240 V AC systems. It provides arc fault circuit interrupter protection and mounts by bolt-on connection into compatible QO load centres or NQ panelboards. The one-pole unit has a 10 kA interrupting rating at the rated voltage.
Electricians fitting QO or NQ panels who require arc fault detection on a 20 A branch circuit will use this breaker. The paddle actuator and pressure-plate terminals simplify installation in the 100 A frame size. Installers working with panels outside the QO series or needing a different amperage must select another device.
The maximum ampere interrupting rating is 10 kA at 120/240 V AC, confirming the breaker can safely clear fault currents up to that level in the listed panels. The DC voltage rating is not rated, so the device is unsuitable for DC applications. Verify the panel series and available fault current before specifying.

Yes, the breaker uses a bolt-on mounting style and is listed for use with QO load centres and NQ panelboards, so it fits directly onto the bus bars of those panels.
After installation, press the built-in test button; the paddle should trip to the centre position, indicating the arc fault detection circuit is functioning.
The breaker ships with the pressure-plate terminals already assembled, so no separate terminal hardware is required for standard copper conductors.
