Two-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A at 120/240 V AC with 22 kA interrupting capacity for QO load centres
This Square D QOU220VH miniature circuit breaker provides overcurrent protection for single-phase circuits at 120/240V AC and 48V DC. It is rated at 20 A with a high interrupting capacity of 22 kA at 120/240V AC. The two-pole toggle design suits air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating equipment in QO-series panelboards.
Slotted box lugs with reversible line and load connections simplify wiring in either direction. Surface and DIN-rail mounting options give flexibility for panel builders. The high AIR rating of 22 kA at 120/240V AC means the breaker can safely clear larger fault currents than standard models.
Confirm your panelboard is a QO-series unit that accepts QOU breakers. Check that the circuit requires a two-pole 20 A device and that the available fault current does not exceed 22 kA at 120/240V AC. Ensure the mounting method matches your enclosure and that 48V DC rating covers any DC control circuits.

The breaker is a new SQUARE D QOU series unit rated 20 A with a 22 kA interrupting capacity; it is designed to operate without scheduled replacement unless it trips or shows physical damage.
The breaker’s continuous current rating of 20 A is the primary limit; sustained loads above 20 A will cause the thermal-magnetic mechanism to trip.
At its rated 20 A the device generates only the normal warmth of a moulded-case breaker and operates silently; no fan or active cooling is present.
