Classic RPG download

This is a digital copy of FINAL FANTASY VII for Windows PC, delivered as a Steam activation code. The package is brand new and rated T for Teen by the ESRB. It suits players who want the original 1997 release with modern online features added. No physical media is included.

Upgrade from disc versions

The download replaces legacy CD-ROM installations that require physical discs and lack cloud support. The jump is worth it for owners of the original PC port who want 36 Steam achievements and cloud save synchronisation. It also benefits anyone whose optical drive has failed or who prefers a library tied to a Steam account.

Build integration

The game installs through Steam and requires a Steam account for activation. System needs include Windows XP, Vista or 7 in 32-bit or 64-bit editions, a 2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 2.16 GB of hard disk space. A DirectX 9.0c-compatible graphics card is also required. It frees up physical shelf space and removes disc-check delays.
