Non-insulated ring terminal crimps 18-14 AWG copper wire with a 3/8" stud hole, tin-plated copper barrel, CSA certified and UL listed for 600 V
The Sta-Kon B14-38 is a non-insulated ring terminal designed for 18 to 14 AWG copper conductors. It features a 3/8 inch stud size and a tin-plated copper body. The barrel uses a serrated design for a secure crimp termination. This pack contains 100 pieces for electrical and industrial wiring tasks.
The terminal carries a maximum voltage rating of 600 V and a maximum operating temperature of 221 degrees F. It is UL Listed under file E9809 and CSA Certified for compliance. The bare metallic finish has no insulation coverage or material. Normal use stays within these electrical and thermal limits.
The serrated barrel style maintains grip on the wire during prolonged mechanical stress and thermal cycling. The crimp termination resists loosening when subjected to continuous vibration or repeated current flow. Tin contact finish protects the copper against oxidation over extended service periods. The 0.3 inch barrel length provides consistent contact area.

Strip the wire, insert it fully into the .3 in serrated barrel, and crimp with a tool sized for 18-14 AWG; the step often missed is verifying the wire reaches the barrel end before crimping.
Inspect the tin-plated copper contacts periodically for corrosion or loosening; replace any terminal showing discolouration, cracked barrel, or a stud hole elongated beyond the .35 in spacing.
The 221 °F maximum operating temperature is the first limit; sustained current that drives the terminal above this temperature degrades the tin finish and copper barrel.
