High-Back Camp Chair 330 lbs Capacity

This Stalwart chair is a compact camp furniture piece built for adult users who want a secure, wrapped-in feel while sitting outdoors. The high back and deep seat create an ergonomic tilt that supports upright posture. A firm removable pillow adds adjustable neck or lumbar support. It suits campers, RV travellers, festival goers and backyard relaxers who value comfort over minimal weight.

Folding Frame 9×9×17 Inches 4.42 lbs

The steel frame folds down to a 9 by 9 by 17 inch bundle that weighs 4.42 pounds, making it manageable for motorcycle panniers, RV storage bays or a festival backpack. Dual sitting modes let you switch between a standard 39 inch seat height and a low 26 inch mode for sand or riverbanks. Anti-sink pads on the feet prevent slipping on soft ground. No tools are required; the frame snaps into a hexagonal base before the polyester fabric sleeve is attached.

Upgrade from Minimalist Stools

Buyers moving up from ultralight stools or thin fabric folders gain a supportive high back, a structured seat that holds its shape and a built-in cup holder. The jump is worth it when you sit for hours around a fire, at a festival stage or on a patio and need posture support that a simple stool cannot give. It is not for hikers counting every ounce or for anyone needing a chair that packs smaller than 17 inches in length.

Questions about this item

How does the 330 lb capacity hold up when the chair is used for hours on end?

The frame supports up to 330 lb as long as it is fully unfolded into a stable hexagon base and placed on flat ground; exceeding that limit or using it on uneven surfaces can cause tipping.

Does the polyester fabric and frame stay cool and quiet during all-day sitting?

The breathable polyester seat allows airflow and the chair has no moving parts that generate noise, so it remains quiet and does not trap heat during extended use.

What must I already have to use the low-sit mode at the beach?

You only need a reasonably flat patch of sand or ground; the built-in anti-sink pads on the frame prevent the legs from slipping into soft terrain without any extra accessories.
