Star Micronics RC700B Ribbon Cartridge

The Star Micronics RC700B is a black ribbon cartridge designed for dot-matrix receipt printers. It delivers a rated yield of 3000000 characters per cartridge. The fabric ribbon includes a clutching mechanism that prevents jams from damaging the print head. Genuine Star ink formulation lubricates the head to extend its service life.

Suits SP700, SP712 and SP742 series users

This cartridge fits the SP700, SP712MC, SP712MD, SP712MU, SP742, SP742MC, SP742MD and SP742MU models. Shops running those printers get consistent output and protected hardware. Buyers with non-Star or incompatible dot-matrix models cannot use this ribbon. Colour receipt printing is not supported by this black-only cartridge.

3000000-character capacity for high-volume receipts

The rated yield handles extended daily printing in retail or hospitality queues. Ink lubrication and the anti-jam clutch keep the print head running smoothly across the full span. Very high-traffic sites will replace cartridges more often and should plan for spare stock. No page-count or time-based estimate is provided by the manufacturer.
