Compact 2" thermal receipt printer
The Star Micronics mC-Print2 prints direct-thermal receipts at 100 mm/sec and 203 dpi on 58 mm paper rolls up to 50 mm diameter. Its 96 x 115 x 100 mm square footprint reduces counter space by 60 percent compared with larger desktop models. CloudPRNT support lets online orders print directly without a local PC, and the guillotine auto-cutter delivers a clean partial cut for every transaction.
Replaces bulky legacy desktop printers
Businesses moving from wider footprint printers such as the TSP100III gain 60 percent more counter room while keeping the same 2.25" media width. The jump is worth it when the POS system changes frequently because USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Lightning interfaces are all built into the same unit, so the printer stays in service across platform migrations. It is not for operations that need 3" or 4" paper widths or higher-volume roll diameters.
Hub-powered install with peripheral limits
The external power supply and top-loading paper bay make first setup fast, while the integrated hub adds one 2.4 A USB-A port and two 0.5 A USB-A ports for Star mCollection peripherals such as scales, scanners, displays, buzzers or cash drawers — sold separately. Installers must verify that total peripheral draw stays within the hub’s 2.4 A budget and that the host OS matches the supported Windows, Mac or Linux drivers; no driver is included for mobile-only environments.

It takes 58.00 mm wide rolls with a maximum diameter of 50.00 mm.
How do I load paper into the top-loading mechanism?
Open the cover, drop the roll in so it feeds from the bottom, pull a short length straight out, then close the cover until it clicks.
When should the auto-cutter be cleaned or replaced?
The guillotine cutter is rated for 60 million lines; clean it if receipts start to tear or jam, and replace it when cutting quality no longer improves after cleaning.
