Control four dual-DVI computers from one console with eight USB ports, audio and a 2.0 hub
This desktop KVM switch lets one user control four computers from a single dual-DVI console with USB keyboard and mouse. Integrated audio switching and an eight-port USB 2.0 hub keep peripherals shared across all connected systems. It is built for multi-system workstations that need simultaneous access to dual-head video outputs.
The switch passes analog QXGA signals up to 2048 x 1536, so each DVI-I port delivers high-resolution video without digital conversion. Bandwidth is limited to the analog DVI-I interface; DisplayPort, HDMI or dual-link DVI-D sources will not reach their native digital resolutions through this unit. Cable length and signal quality also affect the maximum usable resolution.
Only four computers can be connected at once, so environments with five or more hosts need additional switches or a different topology. The single local-user design means concurrent multi-user access is not supported. Buyers who need more ports or simultaneous operators should look for a larger matrix solution.

The SV431DD2DUAProduct model supports four connected computers and a single local user, providing eight USB ports and ten DVI ports for dual-display setups with audio and USB 2.0 hub functions.
Each DVI channel can drive up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, so both displays on the user station can run at that resolution simultaneously when the connected computers output QXGA signals.
The integrated hub runs at USB 2.0 speeds and shares the switch's 110V AC to 240V AC power supply, so attached devices are limited to USB 2.0 bandwidth and the unit's internal power budget.
