Bundled power cord enables immediate setup

The listing includes the printer and a power cord so the device can be powered and connected to a host system without sourcing a separate supply. No labels, ribbons or additional media are included in the package.

203 dpi resolution on 3.13 inch paper

The single specification that determines fit is the 203 by 203 dpi print resolution combined with the 3.13 inch supported paper width. Buyers who need higher resolution output or wider media should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the thermal print head on the Star TSP100 143U need replacing under normal use?

The direct thermal print head has no ribbon or ink to replace; it lasts for the rated print life of the mechanism and is only swapped if physical damage or wear degrades the 203 dpi output.

At 5 ips continuous printing, what limit appears first on the Star TSP100 143U?

The 5 inches per second engine speed is the hard ceiling; the USB link and 3.13 inch paper width impose no lower bottleneck during sustained receipt runs.

How much fan noise and heat does the Star TSP100 143U produce when running all day?

The kiosk-class mechanism uses passive cooling with no internal fan, so idle and all-day operation stay silent and only warm to the touch near the print head.
