Starmaxx Ultra Sport ST760 summer tire

The Starmaxx Ultra Sport ST760 is a high-performance summer tire built for passenger cars and SUVs. Its asymmetric tread pattern and summer compound deliver strong dry and wet grip while resisting hydroplaning. The reinforced internal structure supports sustained high-speed driving up to 168 mph. Load index 97 and XL rating suit heavier sedans and crossovers.

Installation notes and common issues

The tire mounts on a 17-inch rim with a 235 mm section width and 45 aspect ratio. Professional fitting and balancing are required; the rim is not included. The 10/32 inch tread depth is standard for the class. Incorrect inflation pressure or mismatched axle pairs can cause uneven wear and reduced steering response.

Summer-only limits and wear

This tire is designed for warm-weather use; the compound hardens in low temperatures, cutting traction on cold or snowy roads. The UTQG 320 AA A rating indicates a treadwear grade of 320 with top-level wet traction. Overall diameter is 25.3 inches, which affects speedometer calibration if it differs from the original equipment size.
