14-inch 16 W RGB soundbar

The STARNOONTEK 14-inch 16 W RGB soundbar is a compact, battery-powered speaker bar built for desktop use. It combines stereo 2.0 channels with two bass-boosted diaphragms and dual strong-magnet cores. Ten RGB lighting modes let the unit match a gaming setup. Bluetooth, 3.5 mm aux and USB playback give three ways to connect.

Desktop users wanting portable stereo

This soundbar suits PC owners who want a single, movable bar for music, films and games without a separate subwoofer. The battery lets it sit away from a wall socket. Buyers who need a dedicated subwoofer, surround-satellite sets or wall-mountable soundbars will need a different solution.

10 RGB lighting modes

Ten selectable lighting patterns — including flowing, breathing, rhythm, fading and clashing — run across the keys and diaphragms. The modes are the only visual customisation the unit offers; there is no software control or per-zone colour editing. If programmable lighting is required, this model will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm aux input on this 14" soundbar work with my older desktop that has no Bluetooth?

Yes, the 3.5 mm aux connection lets you plug straight into any headphone or line-out jack on an older PC, laptop or monitor for instant stereo 2.0 audio without pairing.

How can I verify the 16W stereo output is performing correctly after I connect it?

Play a familiar track at moderate volume; you should hear clear treble and deep bass from the dual diaphragms with no distortion, and the 360 surround effect will widen the soundstage noticeably.

Does the box include a 3.5 mm audio cable and a USB power cable, or do I need to buy them separately?

The soundbar supports 3.5 mm aux and USB playback, so the necessary cables for those wired modes are supplied in the package; Bluetooth requires no cable at all.
