The 10301-ST is an Extreme Networks 10301 compatible SFP+ transceiver module designed, programmed and tested for Extreme Networks switches and routers. It delivers dependable 10 GbE connectivity over multi-mode fiber for 10GBase-SR compliant networks. The module operates at 850nm wavelength with LC duplex connectors. It supports a maximum link distance of 300 m (984 ft).

Multi-mode fiber distance and interface limits

Multi-mode fiber at 850nm limits the reach to 300 m for 10 Gbps operation, making this module suitable for intra-building or campus links rather than long-haul runs. The LC duplex interface requires matching patch cables and clean end-faces to maintain the rated distance. Digital diagnostics monitoring is supported for real-time link health visibility. Power draw stays below 1.3W per module.

Hot-swappable SFP+ build with LC connectors

The transceiver follows the industry-standard SFP+ form factor at 0.50" x 2.30" x 0.55" and weighs 0.71 oz, allowing tool-less insertion and removal without powering down the host switch.
