15.6-inch 16:9 privacy filter for on-screen touch

This bright privacy screen filter fits 15.6-inch displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It limits viewing angles so only the person directly in front can read the screen. Touch input remains functional through the filter surface. The 75% light transmittance keeps the image bright while blocking side views.

Adhesive strips, flip-up tabs

The kit includes adhesive strips for a semi-permanent mount and two flip-up tabs that let you swing the filter away without removing it. A lifting tab helps peel the filter cleanly when needed. A wiping cloth is supplied to keep the surface clear of fingerprints and dust. These accessories let you switch between private and shared viewing in seconds.

Thin film build with flip-over mounting suits

The filter is a thin film that adds minimal thickness to the laptop lid. Flip-over tabs hinge on the bezel so the filter stays aligned when folded back. Adhesive strips bond to the screen surround, while the lifting tab protects the corners during removal. This design supports frequent opening and closing without misalignment or residue buildup.

Questions about this item

How often will the adhesive strips or flip-over tabs need replacing?

The filter ships with adhesive strips and flip-up tabs for mounting; replacements are not scheduled but can be swapped if the adhesive loses grip or a tab breaks.

Does the 75% light transmittance limit visibility during long work sessions?

At 75% transmittance the screen stays bright enough for all-day use; the privacy angle is the limiting factor, not overall brightness.

Does the filter trap heat or make the laptop fan louder when it runs all day?

The thin filter adds negligible insulation, so laptop thermals and fan noise remain essentially unchanged during continuous operation.
