Signal distribution

The StarTech 4K7014IC-EXTEND-HDMI splits a single 4K 60Hz HDMI source across four remote displays using CAT6 or CAT6a cabling. It reaches up to 230ft (70m) while also providing a local HDMI output on the transmitter for a nearby screen. The kit includes one transmitter, four receivers, IR blaster and receivers, mounting hardware, a power adapter and documentation.

Installation fit

This extender suits integrators who need to drive multiple 4K displays from one source over structured cabling without configuring IP addresses or installing drivers. It works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Apple Silicon platforms out of the box. Installations that require fibre transport, uncompressed bandwidth beyond 4K 60Hz, or more than four endpoints will need different equipment.

Sustained operation

A single power adapter at the transmitter feeds all four receivers through the CAT6 cables, removing the need for separate outlets at each display location. The plug-and-play design maintains a stable 4K 60Hz signal with two-channel audio across the full 70m distance during continuous use. IR extension allows source control from any connected display without additional wiring.
