Universal security tether kit

The StarTech CONNLOCKPK10 supplies ten steel cables that lock cables and adapters to equipment in boardrooms, classrooms and public workstations. Each tether is 300 mm long and can be trimmed with wire cutters for a custom fit. Black heat-shrink tubing covers the aluminum ferrules for a tidy appearance. A crimping tool is required but not included.

Ten cables with room to adjust

Ten tethers secure multiple devices at once, while the 300 mm length gives enough slack for most desk and podium layouts. The steel construction resists cutting, yet the cables can be shortened on site to eliminate excess. Twenty ferrules and twenty shrink tubes are provided so every cut end can be finished properly. Very long runs or permanent wall anchoring exceed the supplied length.

Simple installation, tool-dependent build

The kit fits any device with a suitable anchor point and frees staff from replacing lost adapters in meeting rooms or lecture halls. Installation needs a separate crimping tool and wire cutters, so plan for those before starting.
