VESA-certified DisplayPort 2.1 cable delivers 54 Gbps bandwidth for 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 240 Hz with DSC 1.2a over 6 ft
This six-foot cable carries a VESA-certified DisplayPort 2.1 connection rated at 54 Gbps. It links graphics cards and monitors that require the DP54 bandwidth tier. The male-to-male connectors lock securely into standard DisplayPort sockets. It suits builders assembling high-resolution workstations or gaming rigs.
The cable draws no external power and generates no audible noise during operation. Its passive copper construction adds negligible heat to the signal path. Signal integrity is maintained across the full 1.83 metre length without repeaters. It fits cleanly into tight routing channels behind desks or inside cases.
The 54 Gbps bandwidth supports uncompressed 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz continuously. With DSC 1.2a compression it sustains 4K at 240 Hz, 10K at 60 Hz and 16K at 30 Hz. HDR10, MST daisy-chaining, HDCP 2.3, G-Sync and FreeSync remain stable during extended sessions. It is not suited for runs longer than 1.83 metres without an active extender.

Connect each DisplayPort 2.1 male end firmly until the latch clicks; the step often missed is pressing the release button before unplugging to avoid port damage.
No scheduled maintenance is required; replace the cable only if the connectors become loose, the jacket shows wear, or signal drop-outs appear at 54 Gbps.
The 6 ft (1.83 m) length is the practical limit; beyond this distance the 54 Gbps bandwidth may degrade without an active repeater.
