Port protection for fixed displays

This six-inch High Speed HDMI port saver cable shields the HDMI port on a monitor or other device by moving the connection point away from the chassis. A gold-plated male connector with an internal latching mechanism grips the port to resist accidental disconnection from vibration or cable tension. The short PVC-jacketed cable uses aluminium-Mylar foil with braid shielding. It is supplied new.

Replacing a direct panel-to-cable link

Use this adapter when a permanent or semi-permanent cable run puts stress on the equipment socket, or when the port is recessed and hard to reach. The extension converts a fixed female port into a more accessible female port six inches further out, reducing wear on the original connector.
