Secure grip for stable installs

The StarTech HDMI2-CABLE-GRIP-10F is a 10ft High Speed HDMI cable designed for installers and home users who need a dependable link between source and display. Its locking connectors resist accidental disconnection when equipment is moved or vibrated. The cable supports 4K at 60Hz and 1440p at 144Hz for sharp video playback.

Signal integrity over distance

The 18Gbps bandwidth carries HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 content without compression artefacts at the rated resolutions. A TPE jacket protects the conductors during routing through tight spaces while maintaining flexibility. ARC support returns audio to a receiver without a separate cable. The passive design draws no external power.

Lifetime coverage for permanent runs

Gripping shells on both HDMI ends lock into ports with a audible click, reducing service calls caused by loose cables. The 10ft length suits wall-mounted displays or projector mounts where slack is limited. Lifetime warranty backs the build quality for professional AV integrations.

Questions about this item

How do the gripping connectors install and what step do people miss?

The connectors push straight into the HDMI ports on both devices; the step people miss is pressing until the internal latch clicks, which locks the plug in place.

What maintenance or replacement will this cable need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required; replace the cable only if the TPE jacket is cut or the HDMI pins become bent.

What limit shows up first under sustained 4K 60 Hz HDR use?

The 18 Gbps bandwidth ceiling is the first limit; it carries 4K 60 Hz and 1440p 144 Hz with HDR10 and ARC but cannot pass higher refresh rates or uncompressed 8K signals.
