STARTECH HDMI2-CABLE-GRIP-20F 20ft 6.1m hdmi cable

SKU CH-KSNA-V63RS MPN HDMI2-CABLE-GRIP-20F

A 20ft active High Speed HDMI cable with gripping connectors supports 4K 60Hz and 1440p 144Hz with HDR10 and ARC at 18Gbps

  • Secure connection with built-in gripping connectors
  • 4K at 60 Hz for sharp UHD viewing
  • 1440p at 144 Hz for smooth gaming motion
  • HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 support for protected premium content
  • 18 Gbps bandwidth over 20 ft with TPE jacket

20ft High Speed HDMI Cable

This 20ft (6.1m) active High Speed HDMI cable uses gripping connectors to maintain a secure link between source and display. It is built for installers and home users who need a reliable 18Gbps connection over longer runs without signal degradation.

Upgrade from standard passive leads

Passive cables often lose stability at this length, especially at higher refresh rates. The active design here preserves 4K 60Hz and 1440p 144Hz performance where a basic cord would drop frames or fail to handshake. The jump is worth it when cable runs exceed typical desktop distances.

18Gbps bandwidth with HDR10 and ARC

The 18Gbps pipeline comfortably handles UHD video at 60Hz, high-refresh 1440p gaming, HDR10 metadata and HDCP 2.2 protected content. ARC support simplifies audio return to a receiver. Bandwidth limits appear above 4K 60Hz or with uncompressed 4K high-frame-rate sources.

Questions about this item

What clearance do the gripping connectors need behind a wall-mounted TV?

The HDMI connectors use a locking grip that requires enough rear space to squeeze the release tabs; allow at least a few centimetres behind the display.

Does the active 20 ft cable need a specific plug-in sequence to handshake at 4K 60 Hz?

Connect the source end first, then the display end; the active circuitry needs the source powered on before the sink to establish the 18 Gbps link.

Will the TPE jacket degrade if the cable runs through a warm ceiling void?

The thermoplastic elastomer jacket is rated for typical in-wall temperatures; avoid direct contact with heating ducts or insulation exceeding normal building limits.
