High-Speed HDMI Cable with Gripping Connectors

This 1.8 m high-speed HDMI cable uses gripping connectors that resist accidental disconnection. It supports 4K at 60 Hz and 1440p at 144 Hz with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 compliance. The 18 Gbps bandwidth handles UHD video and ARC audio for TV, monitor or display installations.

Suited for 4K 60 Hz and high-refresh 1440p setups

Gamers and home-cinema users who need a secure fit at 18 Gbps will benefit from the locking design. Builders requiring 8K bandwidth or 4K at higher refresh rates should look at higher-specification alternatives.

18 Gbps bandwidth rating

The single specification that decides fit is the 18 Gbps throughput. It carries 4K 60 Hz and 1440p 144 Hz signals with HDR10 and ARC. If your source or sink demands more bandwidth, this cable will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

What does 18Gbps mean for 4K 60Hz and 1440p 144Hz in use?

The 18Gbps bandwidth carries 4K at 60Hz with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2, and also supports 1440p at 144Hz for high-refresh gaming.

Which HDMI standard does the cable follow and what does that cap?

It meets High Speed HDMI requirements, capping at 18Gbps so 4K 60Hz HDR and 1440p 144Hz work, but higher rates need a different class.

How do the gripping connectors affect the space needed behind a TV or monitor?

The connectors add a thumb-screw style grip that extends slightly beyond a standard HDMI plug, so allow a few extra millimetres of rear clearance.
