Universal TV Accessory Mount

This universal TV accessory mount holds small devices such as media players, streaming boxes, routers, modems and cable boxes behind a display or on a wall. It is built for installers and home-theatre owners who want to keep equipment out of sight while staying within an 11 lb load limit. The powder-coated steel plate and included hardware support both VESA and direct-wall installation.

Capacity and headroom

The bracket supports up to 11 lb (5 kg) on its 13.4 x 8.8 inch mounting grid, giving ample room for most streaming devices, network switches and AV extenders. The adjustable cradle depth ranges from 1.8 to 3 inches, accommodating thicker hardware such as cable boxes or small routers. Heavier components beyond the rated weight or larger chassis that exceed the cradle depth will not fit securely.

Single deciding specification

The 11 lb weight rating is the sole figure that determines whether a specific device can be mounted safely. If the target equipment exceeds this limit, the mount cannot be used regardless of its VESA pattern or available space.

Questions about this item

Will the 11lb capacity hold my router and Apple TV together behind the TV?

The steel plate and adjustable cradle are rated for a combined 11lb (5kg), so a typical router plus an Apple TV will stay within the limit.

How do I confirm the mount is secure once installed on the VESA grid?

After tightening the supplied M4, M5, M6 or M8 screws into the 13.4"x8.8" hole pattern, the bracket should not shift when you press firmly on the mounted devices.

Does the box include everything needed to attach it to a brick wall?

Yes — two wall screws and two wall anchors are provided along with the bracket, cradle, elastic band, three zip ties and all VESA mounting screws and washers.
