The STARTECH POEINJ30W delivers up to 30 W of midspan power over a single Ethernet cable to IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at devices such as IP cameras, sensors and wireless access points. It operates reliably from -40 C to 75 C inside an IP-30 aluminium housing rated for vibration, shock and free-fall. Dual redundant power inputs accept terminal-block or barrel-plug connections for flexible installation.

Gigabit data with 10/100 PoE negotiation and jumbo

The injector passes 1000 Mbps traffic while the powered port negotiates at 10/100 Mbps, so connected PoE devices are limited to Fast Ethernet speeds. Link Fault Pass-through and 16K jumbo-frame support are included, but total power per port cannot exceed 30 W. Cat 5e or better cabling is required for reliable operation at these rates.
